  • Government expects all core government departments to be part of Govt3
  • The COE formally signs up to the programme
  • The agency appoints a Govt3 lead contact and dedicated resources
  • Agency prepares a Govt3 Action Plan (benefiting from the Govt3 knowledge base which is continuously improved)
  • The Govt3 team offers assistance based on the agency's action plan
  • The agency addresses the 4 areas of the Govt3 programme with the help of Govt3 tools, experts and website
  • Changes in these areas will result in Sustainable procurement (influenced by the Govt3 knowledge base)
  • Sustainable procurement will influence the sustainable industry to provide sustainable products
  • During this process there will be Govt3 monitoring and reporting
  • Successes will be celebrated in Govt3 awards and recognition
  • Annually Govt3 will report to the Government which will lead to more celebrating of success stories and feed knowledge gain into the Govt3 knowledge base
  • It all will result in a government and a New Zealand that is sustainable - socially, environmentally and economic
